Hessle High School has a long established Parents and Friends Association (PFA). All parents automatically become members when their children join the school.
The PFA is run by a committee and always welcomes new members to the meetings.
Throughout the year the PFA organises social and fund raising events for example;
Summer Fair
Quiz Nights
Fashion Shows
Lincoln Christmas Fair Trip
School Swing Band Dance & Supper
200 Club
In recent years, funds raised by parent’s efforts have been used to:
Buy and assist in running the school Minibus
Provide equipment for the Music Department
Provide prizes for the annual “Stars in their Eyes” competitions
£5000 towards the successful bid for Science College Status
The PFA holds about six meetings a year in the lounge at the Heads Lane Site. Meetings are usually held at 7:30 on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday on a rolling basis. Details of meetings are in the school newsletter or available from the school office.
